THE BIRTH OF FATHER OF LOUD WHO CHANGES THE MUSIC WORLD.
Without a doubt, Marshall is a legendary brand of sound, it started when Jim Marshall came into this world on 29th July 1923 in Southall, UK. He was encouraged to do the trap dance since the young age to strengthen his body for bone diseases,
It made him discover his talent in music, from thereon he learned to sing, before becoming the master of drum. Many artists in the 60s who were his pupils went on to become legends in the music industry.
1960 was the turning point for Jim, he opened his music instruments store, J&T Marshall, in Oxbridge, London. And in no time, the store became the rendezvous point for the new coming artists, especially the Rock ‘n’ Roll artists, which was still nascent at that time, who were very local about their need of the newer and better amplifier.
Jim heard them, therefore he dedicated his time to build the first Marshall amplifier with the uniqueness of stern sound and roar, it was exactly what those artists needed. It instantly became the number one amplifier for rock artists all over the world such as Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, The Yardbirds and Jimi Hendrix, just like that, the music world changed forever.
CARRY ON THE AGE OF UNLIMITED POWER OF SOUND
After its glory in 60s, Marshall constantly improved the amplifier in various ways,
increasing sound power, the size of the amp, and building new innovations like Marshall Stack, which elevate the sound ceiling for the artist on stage, that helps artists emit their voices even clearer and louder. Those were the reasons why every artist has needed Marshall on stage ever since then.
In 2010, Marshall evolved by not only being just an amplifier manufacturer, but becoming the lifestyle products manufacturer as well, its goal is to build the source of sound that no one can be comparable. It kicked off with Marshall Headphone Major and Minor, over-ear headphones, that’s fashionable while still maintaining Marshall quality of sound, this expanded Marshall users outside of musicians, it also matched with the lifestyle of the new generation that love to listen to music anywhere and anytime, whether they’re at home or not, and paved the way for others Marshall products.
